Ranbir Kapoor was filmed confronting a photographer during a late-night outing in Mumbai on Saturday, September 26. The actor was leaving a restaurant with his wife Alia Bhatt, co-star Vicky Kaushal, and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali when the exchange took place.
The incident occurred after the group posed for the paparazzi outside the venue. According to videos circulating on social media, the mood shifted toward the end of the photo session when one photographer repeatedly shouted instructions at Ranbir.
The actor turned around as he was walking away and said, “Bahut bol raha hai tu ha.” The remark translates to “You are talking a lot.”
Details of the Outing
Ranbir wore an olive-green short kurta with black jeans for the dinner. Alia was dressed in a neon-green outfit, while Vicky Kaushal wore a white shirt and black trousers.
During the photo session, Bhansali appeared to step out of the frame so the three actors could be photographed together. Ranbir, however, asked the filmmaker to return and join the group for the pictures.
The group eventually wrapped up the session and began walking toward their vehicles. It was at this point that the photographer’s repeated shouts prompted Ranbir’s response.
Ranbir Escorts Alia Through Crowd
After the brief exchange, Ranbir was seen staying close to Alia as they made their way through the crowd of photographers. He held her by the waist and escorted her toward their car, ensuring she had space to move through the gathering.

Timing Follows Love & War Poster Rollout
The dinner reunion came shortly after the release of three character posters for Love & War over the course of the week. Ranbir’s first look was unveiled first, followed by Alia’s poster and then Vicky’s.
The posters offered the first detailed look at the different worlds inhabited by the three characters. Ranbir’s poster shows him behind the wheel of a classic blue car, while Alia’s depicts her as a cabaret performer.
Love & War marks the first time Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal will appear together in the same film. The period drama is scheduled for release in January 2027.
